Banbridge
Town Football Club was founded in 1947 offering Association
Football to the larger community of the Banbridge
district.
The
Club played in the Mid Ulster League until their admission
into the Irish Football League 'B' Division in 1955.
In 2005 the Club gained promotion to the Irish Football
League 1st Division for the very first time in their
history. In 2008 the IFA formed the IFA Championship;
the new 2nd tier of the Irish Football League and
Banbridge Town have proudly taken their place in it.
The development of Junior
Football in the district is a credit to the committee
of Banbridge Town Juniors,
who were formed as Seapatrick Juniors in 1994, they
then amalgemated with the Town in 1999.
Banbridge
Town Juniors cater for all children from eight
to eighteen, fielding ten teams a week and are always
on the lookout for young talent. If you have a child
